Position Summary:
Lyris has openings for savvy software engineers to join our (extremely technical) Professional Services Team.  This position involves building enhancements to Lyris' product offerings (ListManager and EmailLabs) based on customer requirements.  The projects are usually quick turn-around projects (2-3 days), which maximizes the ability to pick up new technologies.  The successful candidate will have the following skills:

• 2+ years commercial Engineering experience
• Windows and Linux/Unix (both important!)
• SQL (Microsoft, Oracle, and/or MySQL)
• Scripting experience (e.g., Perl, PHP, Tcl, JavaScript)
• Programming experience (e.g., Java, C#)
• Networking and systems administration (TCP/IP and SMTP)
• Proven track record of problem solving skills
• Great oral and written communication
• BS/MS-CS/EE or equivalent experience

Job Responsibilities:

• Come up with innovative solutions using SQL and programming languages (Perl, Tcl, JavaScript, PHP, Flash, C#, Java, etc) that enhance our software products (two distinct email marketing platforms)
• We anticipate no travel for this position, unless desired
