My favorite band, My Morning Jacket, just released their latest album. And I just bought it over lunch…from my phone! The fact I can purchase this album on my phone, listen to it immediately and tonight transfer it to my home computer with ease continues to blow me away (the fact that the phone cost me $200 more last month than it would this week is a whole other story). How far we have come from picking up vinyl LP’s at the local record shop.

So, when I realize the album was released, I pull a phone out of my pocket and in minutes I own the album and am rocking out at my desk. The integration of technologies is at the core of this advancement. Not only technologies, but the merging and blending of work and lifestyle are at play too. My phone is now my most important tool for both business as well as my personal life. The fact that my phone offered such integration saved me time, effort and money. It also offered me a memorable and remarkable user experience, enough of one that I am writing to tell you about it!
