This newly created position within the organization is in recognition of Mathieus pivotal role on the executive team that is propelling Lyris to become the leading provider of marketing solutions for large, mid-sized and small companies. Mathieus visionary strategy for the new Lyris HQ integrated marketing suite, and focused execution around Lyris popular List Manager installed email marketing application, is driving the companys direction and growth potential.

Most recently, Mathieu was the SVP Marketing at Lyris, where he quickly took over product strategy and immersed himself into every aspect of the company. Prior to that, he held the position of General Manager and Vice President of Product and Marketing at Corel Corporation. He was responsible for creating global marketing and product strategies for a wide range of software products targeted at consumers, businesses, and professionals.

During the course of his career, Mathieu has held a variety of senior management positions at Adobe Systems Incorporated, Gartner Group and a range of other companies. He received his MBA from Athabasca University in Canada in 1999, and his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta in 1989.
