Lyris, Inc. Names Jeffrey Rothman Director of Software Development

Rothman Will Spearhead Product Innovation For Lyris ListManager
EMERYVILLE, Calif. (March 10, 2008) – Lyris, Inc. (OTCBB:LYRI.OB) today announced that it has promoted Jeffrey Rothman to Director of Software Development. Rothman will oversee the development and continued innovation of Lyris ListManager, the company’s installed email marketing software solution that makes it easy for clients to create, send and track email marketing campaigns in-house.
Rothman is a skilled technical manager with more than 15 years of experience developing and implementing custom software solutions and solving technical issues for a diverse range of companies. He has extensive knowledge of the technical aspects of email marketing, including protocols, segmentation and deliverability.
Rothman has been with Lyris since 2000, most recently as Director of Technology. In that role he provided technical leadership in solutions, integration and customization for some of the company’s largest software and hosting clients. He built the professional services team, served as top technical expert for critical product issues, acted as chief technical advocate for clients during the software development process, and traveled worldwide to provide on-site technical consulting for major clients.

Before joining Lyris, Rothman worked with Hughes Aircraft, IBM and Siemens of Munich, Germany. Rothman holds a Ph.D. and a master’s degree in computer science from University of California at Berkeley, and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Cornell University.
