Lyris Releases ListManager 5.0 Email Software

New Version Adds One-To-One Personalization, Oracle Compatibility

Berkeley, CA - 21 January 2002 - Lyris Technologies today announced the release of ListManager 5.0, the latest version of its popular email marketing software. ListManager 5.0 features enhanced one-to-one personalization tools, and is now compatible with several SQL databases, including Oracle.

For email marketers and publishers, ListManager 5.0 adds a number of new message personalization features, including conditional content and an easy scripting language. These features let marketers create unique, customized messages based on list member interests demographics, shopping behavior, or any other information stored in their customer databases.

In order to appeal to customers with large legacy databases, ListManager 5.0 is now also compatible with a number of major enterprise databases, including Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and PostgreSQL. This allows marketers to create emails that directly access their current customer database in real time, eliminating the need for time-consuming synchronization of multiple databases.

ListManager 5.0 runs on Windows and UNIX. A hosted ASP service is also available.
