Inserting a Sound Clip with Lyris ListManager

It is simple to include sound clips in your ListManager email messages. Before you do so, you'll need to record your sound file, and make it available on the Internet. Then, follow these steps:

Note: these instructions are for ListManager 7.0 and above.

  1. Navigate to Content: New Content.

  2. Select the HTML Message tab.

  3. Click the button:

  1. Select the Media tab:

  1. For URL to media, enter the URL to your sound clip (starting with http://).

  2. Specify the Media type (video or audio).

  3. Specify the Action type:

    • If you'd like the recipient to click on a link to play the clip, select "link".
    • If you'd like the clip to play automatically when opened, select "embed (autoplay)".
    • If you'd like the recipient to click on a link for the clip to be played in the email client, select "embed (click to start)".

  4. Specify the Clickable Text, if applicable.

  5. Specify whether you'd like to Track when someone clicks on the link to open the clip.

  6. Click the button.

  7. Continue creating your Content as usual.
