J.L. Halsey Ranked No. 1 in Sales Growth by Baseline Magazine

Ranking Affirms Corporate Acquisition and Integration Strategy

EMERYVILLE, Calif.--J.L. Halsey Corporation (OTCBB:JLHY), a leading provider of marketing technology solutions, today announced that Ziff Davis Media's Baseline Magazine has ranked the company No. 1 on its list of the fastest-growing software companies with sales of less than $150 million.

The IT publication evaluated U.S.-based publicly-traded software companies at that sales threshold, and listed the top 10 based on 2006 sales growth. J.L. Halsey landed at the top with 1003 percent 2006 sales growth to $24.4 million in sales, from $2.2 million in 2005. Other top 10 companies include Unica, OpsWare and Sonic Foundry.
