Emeryville, Calif., November 12, 2010 - Lyris, Inc. (OTCBB: LYRI.OB) today announced the appointment of Tina Stewart to the role of senior vice president of marketing. Effective immediately, Stewart will be responsible for all aspects of Lyris' global corporate marketing organization and report to Wolfgang Maasberg, chief executive officer at Lyris.
Stewart brings more than 20 years of global marketing experience. Most recently, she served as senior director of web and online strategy for Juniper Networks, a $3.5 billion networking, security and software company. While at Juniper, Stewart created an integrated web and online marketing function represented in 14 countries and 10 languages, and created Juniper's first, unified global Web presence. Stewart also drove Juniper's social media strategy, including Juniper's J-Net Community (blog and technical forums), Twitter, Facebook and YouTube corporate presence. Previously, she was vice president of worldwide marketing for Arbor Networks, responsible for all aspects of corporate marketing. While at Arbor, the company received the "Gloat" award from BtoB Magazine for the "Lost" campaign focused on Enterprise and Service Provider markets.
